Findings from Missouri Livable Streets Stakeholders
In 2013, Missouri Livable Streets worked with the Health Communication Research Center at the Missouri School of Journalism to assess the barriers and facilitators around Livable Streets policy adoption, and to determine what, if any, outcomes had been noted from communities that had already passed Livable Streets policies. Findings included a greater need for evaluation tools to assess the success of the policy and a need for more education around the need for policies themselves.
